With reference to your letter #3098/1919 of the 27th. inst., and to my interview with Mr. Grindle this morning, I have consulted Messrs Helbert Wagg & Co.Ltd, the

City firm who have the financing of the scheme in hand and they have undertaken to give a definite decision within six weeks time, please

ou attached letter.

I have therefore earnestly to request that if you cannot concede the six months from October 2nd. as asked

for in my letter of the 24th.inst,, you will at least be so good as to grant until February 15th, before requiring

the deposit.

Trusting in view of the importance of this

scheme to the Colony (1) to receive a favourable reply.
